Collaboration

A few weeks ago, we held a closing event for a pilot program with students from the Soymás Foundation as part of the #Digispark program, in collaboration with The Trust for the Americas, the Organization of American States (OAS), and Microsoft Chile. This event encompasses the essence of Innovacien.org.

Initially, we were contacted by Start-Up Chile by Corfo to learn about HintEd, a solution that aims to make an impact in the field of technology training. We were amazed by the impact of this application in learning and teaching the use of complex applications like Microsoft Dynamics.

Subsequently, we met with Constanza García Madrid and the HintEd team, led by Artem Taganov and Mark Maksimov, along with Jorge Cella, to discuss the opportunity of providing training in Dynamics. However, we needed support as these are specialized and expensive enterprise applications, and at that time, we did not have accounts to conduct the classes.

Subsequently, we needed a group of individuals who could benefit from these trainings, but also had a programming background. That’s when we spoke with Francisca Olavarría Fadic from SoyMas to coordinate the recruitment process, define participant profiles, and determine if this initiative aligns with the principles we aimed to develop. We began by inviting former programming students from SoyMas and conducted the classes.

A few weeks ago, we held the closing event where Luz Marina Correa Quiceno, Manager of the #Digispark program, participated. This program enables us to offer these trainings free of charge.

In the end, all of this was made possible thanks to the radical collaboration of major technology companies, startups, international organizations, government institutions, and civil society, all working together to benefit young women who are training to enter the national technology industry.

At the end of the event, Alejandra Vidal De la Cerda asked Artem Taganov from HintEd some questions, and here are his responses.

Some thoughts on the activity and closing of the pilot program:

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Innovacien and Fundación SoyMas for including us in their exceptional technology literacy program. As a company dedicated to helping individuals feel comfortable in the digital realm, Innovacien’s mission truly resonates with us. We are honored to have been chosen as their partners in this significant endeavor.

Why do you find it important to support organizations like Innovacien?

HintEd is specifically designed to simplify the process of using technology for those who may not have grown up with it. Innovacien’s goal of empowering people to harness technology to improve their lives aligns perfectly with the purpose of our application, making our collaboration a natural fit.

Collaborating with forward-thinking and charitable organizations like Innovacien allows us to do just that, and we couldn’t be more excited to contribute to their incredible work.
